Started the underpainting for the rooster
and all of his wobbly bits.
Margaret's face under painted with white gesso.
This makes a more smooth area in which
to apply skin tone and shading.
They look like floating heads... hopefully
they will soon have bodies.
Submission deadline is looming!

I love the textures I see in the landscape colour around the rooster. I've loved how you use texture in the past. Roll on my friend!
Thanks for your support Jennifer. I'm working on adding even more texture (feathers) to the rooster. YAY! I get to loose my new pallet knife.
I love the textures too. The shapes are wonderful :-)
